None. DayDot stores all journal entries, mood data, and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party service.
DayDot uses Apple's Foundation Models framework to provide mood analysis and insights. This AI processing happens entirely on your device. No journal text, mood data, or personal information is sent to any server for AI processing.
If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is only accessible by you. DayDot's developers cannot access your iCloud data.
DayDot does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not track your usage patterns, screen views, or any other behavioral data.
DayDot does not share data with any third-party services. If you subscribe to DayDot Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
You can export all your data at any time via Settings → Export entries. To delete all data, simply delete the app from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also remove data from iCloud via your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
DayDot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
